Synopsis
29.5 inch low pressure moving over northern Ontario extends a 29.7 inch trough over the lake this morning. This low gets absorbed into a 29.3 inch low over the Canadian Maritimes this evening, allowing 30.0 inch ridging to return over Lake Superior tonight. By Monday morning, a 29.6 inch low will move over Lake Winnipeg, weakening to 29.7 inches as it moves over northern Ontario and brings 29.8 inch troughing over Lake Superior Monday night. This trough shifts east to Quebec Tuesday through Wednesday as 30.4 inch high pressure builds over Manitoba and Ontario. This high slowly descends southeast, reaching western Lake Superior at 30.2 inches Friday.
