Synopsis

Surface high pressure over the Mid Mississippi Valley will slide south and ridge into the coastal waters for the remainder of the weekend. A moderate northeast flow is expected at times with wind speeds around 20 knots and a small craft advisory this morning west of Cameron. Winds will remain offshore Monday and Tuesday however decrease as high pressure settles over the region. No rain is expected into early next week as a dry air mass will be in place.
